BRICKLOG

Who writes this

My name is Ghulam Muhayuddin. I am an undergraduate studying Artificial Intelligence in Pakistan, and outside coursework I repair, unlock and flash mobile devices — mostly Qualcomm-based phones, tablets and MBB routers.

BrickLog exists because of a gap I kept running into. When a device is hard bricked, most of what you find online is either a video that skips the failures, or a forum thread that ends with "solved" and no explanation. Neither helps at 2am when your tablet has been dead for three weeks.

So I document the whole thing: what I tried, what failed, what it cost me, and what finally worked. If I am not sure which step was the deciding factor, I say so rather than inventing a clean narrative.

What I actually work on

  • Qualcomm EDL recovery — QFIL, firehose programmers, box tools
  • Custom ROM installs and TWRP work, including LineageOS on older hardware
  • Post-flash debugging: audio HAL and mic routing, partition repair, bootloops
  • MBB router and modem unlocking

How to read these guides

Every guide is written from one specific device. Chipsets and firmware packages vary enormously, so treat my steps as a map of the terrain rather than a script to run blindly. Confirm your own model number before you flash anything.

I do not sell firmware, and I do not run a paid unlock service. If a guide mentions a paid tool, it is because I paid for it myself.

Got a device I have not covered? Tell me the model and the exact error text. If I can reproduce it, it becomes a guide.
