Terms and disclaimer
Technical risk
Flashing firmware, unlocking bootloaders and modifying partitions can permanently damage a device, void its warranty, and erase all data on it. The guides here describe what worked on my specific hardware. Chipsets, firmware revisions, tools and drivers vary, and a procedure that succeeds on one device can brick another.
You carry out these procedures at your own risk. I accept no liability for damage, data loss, or any other consequence arising from following anything published on this site.
No warranty
All content is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. I try to keep guides accurate and update them when I learn something new, but I cannot guarantee that any procedure is complete, current, or suitable for your device.
Legitimate use only
These guides are intended for people repairing or modifying devices they own. Do not use anything here to bypass security on a device belonging to someone else, to remove account locks from a device you did not purchase, or to circumvent legal restrictions in your country. I will not assist with those requests.
Firmware and tools
I do not host, sell or distribute firmware files. Where a guide names a tool, that is a description of what I used, not a recommendation to purchase, and I have no commercial relationship with those vendors unless a page states otherwise.
Content ownership
The writing on this site is my own work. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back. Please do not republish full guides elsewhere.

Changes
These terms may be updated. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
If any of this is unclear, ask me directly rather than guessing.
